• Question: Do you think that we have already gone past the point of redemtion in relation to are mistreatment of our planet?

      I hope not. I think the Earth is more robust than we sometimes give it credit for but we shouldn’t keep pushing the boundaries as it may just break. We just need to be sensible, which is certainly not what Humans are known for in large groups…

      I don’t think so, but we have definitely gone far enough to cause problems. However I think with the great progress we are making towards renewable energy and things like carbon capture, we may well be able to tidy up after ourselves.

      No. but we need to cut our carbon emissions fast. we need those new nuclear plants as soon as possible.

      I don’t think we are past the point of no return, but it is really important that we use alternatives to coal fired power stations which are still being built at an extraordinary rate in some areas of the globe. In my view this would make the biggest difference to the problem of global warming. In the short to medium term, nuclear fission has to be a significant part of the solution, and further in the future I hope nuclear fusion will become viable.
