• Question: Have you ever used the Hadron Collider and if so, what did you discover?

      I don’t personally work on any of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments. My experiment, which is in Japan, uses neutrinos which the LHC can’t see. So we compliment the science done at the LHC as we fill in bits of the puzzle that the LHC can’t.

      I’ve never used the LHC – all of my experiments are done in my little lab in the basement in London!
