• Question: I want to give blood when im older and legally allowed. I've had blood tests before so know that does not hurt, but ive heard that when they prick your finger to check your iron levels it really hurts. I saw that you answered a question saying you gave blood so I wondered if you thought the finger prick hurts.

      It didn’t hurt much, slightly more of a scratch than the needles used in a blood test – they are professionals and will do their best to minimise the pain.
