• Question: If you could be any animal what would you be and why? Explain using some scientific words.

      sorry it’s taken a long time to answer your question.

      If I could be any animal I think I’d be a cat (Felis catus, to use the scientific term :-)). Because they can jump with great agility, and they always seem to be up to something interesting.

      A bat would be a great animal to be. They have ability to sense the size, distance and even the make up of things using sonar would be an awesome ‘power’ to have. The reflected sonar (ultrasonic clicks) that a bat emits and receives can tell a bat many things including how juicy and fat potential prey might be. Oh and they can fly!!

      I’d be an owl. They have amazingly sensitive hearing (they can locate a mouse by hearing its heartbeat), and they have all sorts of cool features like special serrated feathers on their wings that make them ghostly silent in flight. The stories and folklore about owls goes back hundreds if not thousands of years.

      Would have to be a Killer Whale, They are intelligent sociable and can do so many cool things 🙂 Plus I love swimming.
