• Question: is being a scientist fun?

      Definitely. We have get such a variety of things to see and do plus lots of places to travel and people to meet. It is never boring… well sometimes, every job has it’s boring moments but as a scientist they are few and far between.

      We get to play with and develop cutting edge technology, program unique software, go fabulous places for our experiments. It never feels like a job to me.

      Yep, being a scientist is great fun 🙂 I think Ben sums up a lot of the key points, and for me the main thing I enjoy is that every day I pretty much do a different job.

      Would recommend it to anyone

      yeah I reckon it is. I can echo what Ben and Mark both say – no two days are quite the same (especially when you’re taking part in I’m a Scientist!), you get to work with some really interesting smart people, and there is quite a bit of travel to interesting places too.
