I like it. The people I work with are good fun and the University is friendly. Could be a little warmer in my office though 😉

      hi tarax,

Yep, its a lovely building and the people here are all great. We have lots of great artwork about and its a really nice clean feel to it.

Yeah it is – I get on really well with the people I work with, and we can be quite flexible about start/finish times and lunch breaks. So if I fancy leaving early one day or taking a longer lunch I can do, as long as I make it up another time. So yes, all that makes for quite a nice working life.

Yes. People are laid back, the pressure usually comes from yourself wanting to do a good job.
The lab is situated on the sandstone Cheshire ridge by the banks of the Bridgewater canal. At lunch i can go for a walk through the woods to the top of the ridge – which is good for the brain cells. We also have a tower here that has views from the Peak District all the way to Snowdon.

I like it here because all of my research group are fun, friendly and clever. It means it’s always nice to come in to work and talk to them.
