• Question: What does an acid do in fizzy drinks?

      Lots of drinks are naturally acidic, like orange juice (citric acid). This can also be put in fizzy drinks as well as a flavouring. The acid’s not very good for your teeth as it can damage the enamel, and the sugar is not good for you either! I try to avoid them myself…

      It is there for flavouring, nothing more.
