• Question: what is the difference between matter and particles

      No difference really. Matter is everything around us and the fundamental particles are the most basic building blocks that you find if you break matter up to the simplest thing it is made from.
      Nature fits particles together to create ever more complex forms of matter – like other (composite) particles, atoms, molecules etc etc.
