      I would have to go with 1984 by George Orwell closely followed by the similar books A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham. Any kind of bleak view of the future seems to be a favourite of mine.

      Science wise you cannot beat the Feynman Lectures series of books – so well explained.

      Wow, good question. There are so many to choose from, but I think my favourite is Catch-22 by Joseph Heller.

      Probably “The Outsider” by Albert Camus if I’m in a serious mood. Anything about Jeeves and Wooster (P.G. Wodehouse) if I’m not.

      I really like all Terry Pratchets books, But Good Omens by him and Neil Gaimen is one of my all time Favourites.
