      Mainly because it looked like fun. I love trying to explain stuff, and I like talking about science (ask any of my friends!) so it seemed perfect for me.

      A few months ago I met someone who was a winner in the summers I’m a Scientist, and they were so enthusiastic about it I couldn’t help but enter. So far I’m loving it, cant wait till the first live chats on Monday 🙂

      I took part last June and really enjoyed answering the crazy questions and talking about things that got me interested in physics in the first place. I am sure the second instalment will be just as fun.

      Science is such a great passion of mine, this seemed like a great opportunity to try and get others enthused about it too. My career path is a bit different to the other scientists in the zone so I thought it would be nice to get across that an education in science doesn’t just lead into research, there are lots of other options too. Plus it just looked like fun!
