• Question: Why does a knuckleball seem to “dance” toward home plate? :))

      I have no idea what a “knuckleball” is, or a “home plate” for that matter, and the way one goes towards the other is anyone’s guess 🙂

      Guess you’re not a baseball fan then Mark! (I occasionally get sucked in to a game on ESPN – it’s quite mesmerising).

      I don’t know how a knuckleball works, but according to wikipedia it’s because of the unpredictable way vortices are created by the seams on the ball:
