• Question: Would you ever inspire somebody else to become a scientist?

      I hope so – I really enjoy science and hope that I can show others how much fun it is. I have persuaded people to do PhDs before now – but I think they had already become a science convert.

      I would like to think that by doing a job I like, and telling lots of people about all the things I like about it, some may be inspired to consider science as a job, and not just some classes they enjoy.

      I’d love to. I think it’s a pretty great job, and I think people often agree with me.
